I had watched the Secret DVD approximately 3 months ago. My husband and I received word that we were matched with a baby for adoption about 3 weeks prior to the Secret’s debut into our lives. We watched the DVD a week before our son was born. We flew out to AZ to watch the birth of our son, Landon. I cut the cord and everything. We had him for 10 days, when the unthinkable happened. The birth father opposed the adoption. We had to give our son back after those 10 days of bonding and loving him. We were told that short of a miracle happening, that we had very little hope of getting him back. We flew back home to St. Louis, and the next 3 weeks I just kept visualizing having Landon in my arms and kissing his little face. Then (3weeks later) we got the call that the paternity test came back negative…the birth father was indeed NOT the birth father!! We have our attorney pursuing our petition to adopt Landon. Our Court date is June 6th…we have faith that we are bringing him home.
