I had been having a tough time. I was trying to study, work in a job I felt deeply uncomfortable in, raise my child and I had also come up against some financial issues. Something made me change the wording on a letter that II had received. The letter stated originally that I was to pay back some money. I changed the wording from ‘you owe us’ to ‘we owe you’ the overpayment. I popped it in my hall cupboard without another thought. I received an email the next day saying that I had been overpaying tax for almost two years and that I was going to be getting back the overpayment! I am so happy and excited! Woohoo this works!
