I started believing in The Secret about 1 year ago. It has really changed my mindset to infinite possibility. Things are improving in every aspect of my life, whether it be business, money or relationships. I have slowly seen the power of infinite intelligence and the way it connects with the power of our mind. But this story is not about the positive part of The Secret. It is about proof of The Secret via a negative mindset.

I was on holiday in the Far East and our family was having a great time. One morning, me and my wife had a disagreement and I was very annoyed and angry over what had been said. I couldn’t change my mindset of negativity. I shut down and stopped talking. Despite going to a lovely beach club, I was was still so caught up with bad emotions, anger and pure negativity. I was so worked up that I even challenged the Universe to show me how bad things could get. I was in pure self destructive mode. What happened was truly proof of like attracts like.

I was just lying there on a sun bed when a group of girls on a hen party accidentally spilt food sauces over our sun beds. It was a mess. I was even more angry by this stage. I challenged the Universe and said, “Is that all you have got? If you are real, show me how bad things can get”. I was in pure challenge mode.

Then we were driving to dinner and the atmosphere was horrible, the whole family was tense, you could feel it. After another disagreement over where we would eat, we finally decided to go to KFC. It was just a simple turn into a driveway then, bang! A motorcyclist hit our car because I had failed to indicate my turn. No one was hurt but the rental car was damaged. It was a real low. It may cost me a lot of money to fix, too. Then KFC was shutting early, no dinner, no fun, it was awful.

I thought to myself, this is it. It’s proof. You asked for this and the world gave you exactly that. I took a few moments to myself and really believed. I didn’t get unhappy as it was the moment that I finally, truly believed that I had manifested all the above.

After reflection, I just wanted to share this because The Secret is not all about the positives. It’s also about the power of negativity.
We truly can bring all the bad things to ourselves as well. I have learn from this  but I almost feel good that this happened because there is a reason for everything. The world was responding to me. Our thoughts are so powerful. I am going to enjoy the rest of my holidays and bring out the best of me again.
