I guess my story begins when I was 8 years old and living in Boston. My family had immigrated to America from India only a year and a half ago at the time. School was really difficult, and it wasn’t as much because of language problems as it was culture change. I didn’t understand why everyone kept being so mean to each other… and to me. I was always made fun of because I was an outsider… they thought I didn’t know anything.

The most degrading moment of my school life came one day when my teacher handed back progress reports on my behavior. After the teacher came to my desk, she put down a piece of paper marked all check minuses. That basically meant straight F’s.

I went running to my mother and started crying because of the sheer humiliation of it, and asked her, “How do i stop this?” That’s when I learned the Secret. That very day, I went home and started visualizing myself being excited and happy and receiving only check pluses (straight A’s) in my behavior report. You can guess what happened the next day. I went in filled with confidence, enthusiasm, and happiness – something that I hadn’t felt in a long time. And when I got my report back at the end of the day – all check pluses, with a sticker on the top saying ‘Excellent Work!’ HA! And it didn’t stop there! For the rest of the year, whenever my reports came, there it was – all A’s. I was so happy that you can’t believe it.

These miracles – and the good grades – have come with me into high school, and every day I wake up and thank God and the Universe for bringing me the Secret. I hope everyone in the world reads this and starts using it. We could make our own Heaven on Earth! THAT… would be seriously cool. =)
