I was introduced to The Secret about a year or two ago, but I didn’t give it much notice. Then my life started going really bad. My dad came drunk and nearly hit me, my mum was depressed and so was my sister. All my friends left me for no reason, my grades fell, I became unorganized and everything started falling apart.

But slowly things are coming back together, like my friend who told me in the face she never wanted to talk to me again started talking, and we joked and laughed. I just know everything will be great!

Don’t get me wrong, I was a wreck. I tried to believe in The Secret and I was looking back at my memories to see if The Secret had ever worked or if I used it somehow without realizing, and I did!

Five years ago I really wanted this table. It looked fancy and it was amazing because at that time I didn’t even have a desk, so I had to do my homework on the floor or bed. My parents yelled and said I couldn’t have it and I started crying, but I cut the picture of it out and had it under my bed. I wished for it and I looked at it for a full hour and said, “I really want this.” Then I completely forgot about it and I sort of gave up hope and four years later I realized I am sitting on the exact same desk that I wished for!

And then another thing, I was browsing through Amazon and I REALLY wanted this drawing tablet but it was too expensive and my parents hated Amazon or buying anything through the internet. Back then I didn’t know The Secret, but I was excited and I acted as though I had it and I just imagined all the drawings I would draw if I got it.

On my 13th birthday I woke up to go to school. I was extremely tired since I went to bed at 2, and I had to wake up at 6. And then my sister came in smiling. She handed me a green box with the exact drawing tablet that I wished for! I was AMAZED. I couldn’t speak for a few minutes.

So you see? It works, and the thing I realized is the more thought you give something that you want, the faster it’ll come to you.
