About 4 years ago I was diagnosed with insulin resistance. That is when your body produces too much insulin when digesting sugar and glucose; it is a step before diabetes.

Since my whole family has this condition and my father is a diabetic, it was no surprise that I had it too. So, I started taking medicine, but the condition did not improve so they gave me stronger medicine. 2 years later I heard about The Secret and watched the movie. I never thought of using it for improving my health and anyway, I didn’t pay much attention to the teachings and forgot about it.

Fast forward to December 2012, I re-discovered The Secret. I was going through a tough time because of a break up. It was especially tough because he is the love of my life, “the one” or whatever you want to call it. But I know that it is meant to be and I love him so much that he will come back to me and we will live happily ever after.

Anyway, and all of a sudden The Secret just popped into my head. I do not even remember why I thought about it, it just appeared. This time I payed full attention to everything that was said and absorbed the teachings through every inch of my body. I was soaked in The Secret! Through January and February I tried to apply it to everything I could but it really was not easy at all. In fact, I still have some trouble manifesting things that I am too attached to, because my biggest trouble with it is “letting go”.

But, I made it. It was really hard at first but with time I learned to let go. What helped me the most to accomplish this was distracting myself with a book or a movie or studying or doing whatever, except thinking of my wishes because that was when I got nervous and anxious and sent out a signal saying “hey, universe, I have not gotten what I asked for!” and that only delays it.

In March I had to go have an exam to check my insulin levels in my blood. This time I did think of using this wonderful law to be healthy. I started thinking about it like a month before my exam and I started to go to yoga lessons to stay calm and in peace with my body so that I could accomplish getting healthy. In March 2013 I went to have my exam taken.

3 days later I checked the results and I just could not believe what I saw! I no longer had insulin resistance! I was healed! Completely and utterly healed! My results were perfect!

I wrote this story 2 days before obtaining my results and I promised myself I would publish it when my wish came true so, here it is!

THANK YOU UNIVERSE! I had tears in my eyes and my parents were so happy, too. Now, I am off my medicine and I can eat anything again. I have no worries anymore. I am just so happy! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
