MéxicoDiscovering the magic of the universe.
First of all I will like to thank The Secret Team and Rhonda, my life has changed and is now filled with the most amazing and magical things and experiences thanks to you all. Thank you, thank you a thousand times.
And thank you to everyone that has shared their story, you have been an inspiration for me.
My English is not very good so please excuse any mistakes I might have.
I have been single for 3 months now, and the hardest part for me was to stop thinking about the guy I was in love with. But when I decided I was ready for a new love, I knew I had to stop thinking about my previous lover because, as you know, L.O.A is really obedient, so there was no way I could attract someone new if everything reminded me of my previous lover.
The same day I took that decision, I talked to a friend who told me I should not fight it, because what you resist persists. She gave me the most amazing advice that has done wonders for me and now I am happy to share it with you:
The trick is to distract your self. Every time you think about your ex you have to find a way to get distracted. The key is to find something that really challenges your brain and requires your whole attention, something that does not allow you to think of anything else like a Sudoku puzzle or a crossword puzzle.
So I bought a book of Sudoku, and every time he crossed my mind I made one. Even if he came in to my mind for just a second, I made one, and of course it would take all my attention so I would not keep thinking about him. Wherever I go I took the book with me and and never let him cross my mind without solving a Sudoku.
I know it sounds crazy but what happens is that you train your mind to distract every time you think about it, and the best part is that you don’t have time to generate any emotions with the memory because as soon as he gets to you, you are already focusing on something else.
Another thing that helped me to dissolve any negativity or resentment was to make a list of things I was thankful about the relationship, and every thing he thought me. I also thanked him for staying away from me so I could find a new love. I thanked him for all his love and I just felt so much better, so you should probably do this before you start with the other practice.
I hope this can help you as much as it helped me and I am sure that pretty soon I will be writing here about my new love.
