I am a lucky person, I have been told that ever since I was a little kid. Little did I know that I was unknowingly practicing ‘The Secret’. I had the perfect life. Perfect parents who supported me in everything I wanted to do and pampered me. Perfect sister, perfect friends. But until now, I have never felt grateful for anything in my life! I am shocked to realize this now that I know The Secret and I have started practicing it(including counting my blessings!)

Ever since I moved to a new country and switched majors to study something that I felt was my real calling, I was not my usual positive self. Apart from being homesick I always felt insecure and incompetent compared to all the others in my class. It got worse when everyone else started getting jobs halfway into our course and here I was bombing one interview after the next. My grades weren’t great either. And to top it, I was putting on weight! My parents wanted me to go back home because they could not see me so depressed any more. I didn’t want to be a failure but I couldn’t keep going either.

That’s when I came across The Secret! I read the book and watched the movie so many times, I have lost count now!

It’s been 2 months since I first read the book. Guess what? Now, I have 3 jobs to choose from (One of them is my dream job!), I have the top grades in my class this past finals, and I am fitter than I have ever been in my life! I also managed to make some awesome friends in this new country which I never thought possible before.

Omg! Just writing this post reminds me how much my life has changed in 2 months! But above all I have never been so positive and happy!
