I was told of The Secret from an acquaintance, who highly recommended it. Although I am not complaining, my life has been under a dark cloud and raining, so to speak, for the last 14 years (there is always someone who is worse off). I have much gratitude and good faith for the things us girls have received. Thank you for that.

After reading The Secret, I was so delighted and excited I went out and got the movie, and viewed it with my daughter. We try our best to practice the theory daily. We request small things, as stated in the book, (ie: cup of coffee, the first parking space, etc.)

Last summer my daughter wanted to go to a summer camp for 2 weeks, bottom line, #1 I could not afford it and #2 I called to check availability and spoke to the woman who said, “NO, sorry, we are all booked for the next 6 months.” I then requested to be put on a cancellation list and the woman said, “We do not have one, as people pay in advance so we do not have any openings.” I then begged the woman to take my name and number, “Just in case an opening came about.” She reluctantly did, yet said, “I am sorry, but maybe next year you could register sooner.”

I was so disappointed, and told my daughter that it would not work out this year. This all took place about 1 month before camp. I kept thinking in terms of The Secret, telling myself (without my daughter knowing) “Brandy, is going to go to camp this year with her girlfriend, and I do not know how, but she just is.”

It was now 2 days before her friend was to go to camp, and MY PHONE rang, IT WAS THE WOMAN who I had spoken with about 2 months prior, telling me that if we were still interested, they had ONE opening, but for only 1 week (not 2, something they never did) and if interested I needed to let her know immediately!!! Guess what? The fee was reduced and my daughter went to camp, and we beat all odds!!! Afterwards we realized The Secret was working, and we continue to use daily.

Our next hope, with much faith, is to come into millions of dollars so that I am able to move my daughter from this Cold state of Michigan, to a warm climate (Arizona or California) where her joints will no longer be damaged, and she will no longer have to suffer at a young age, and financially be able to send her to medical school, as this is her Dream.
