Okay, so I first have to tell everyone, that I am really happy to be posting my first story on The Secret website. I hope to post a new story/achievement on the website very soon.

So, here’s my story. I’ve been reading and learning all I can about personal development for almost 7 years now. I’ve had my ups and downs and have learned quite a lot in the past few years. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m no expert in this field. It’s just that I’ve been putting everything I’ve learned to good practice in the past couple of weeks and months.

To make a long story short: today, as I was reading “You’ve Got to Read this Book!”, I stumbled upon Rhonda Byrne’s story about how she got to know The Secret. In it she shared her experience of how she gave some money to receive even more money.

Anyway, I decided to give the whole give to receive-thing a try. So, I went to a local cafe, ordered a green tea and started reading my book. After about an hour of reading, I got up, got dressed and went to the waitress to ask for the bill. The bill was $1.70 and I gave her a $10. I told her to keep the change. She was stunned! She started smiling and thanking me. I also started smiling and got that great inner-feeling.

After that, I went for a coffee with a colleague of mine. After about 5 minutes of talking, he asked me to drive him somewhere. He offered me $25 in return.

So, to make a long story short, I gave the waitress $10 and my colleague gave me $25. The gas I used to drive him cost me somewhere around $10, – ergo, I “earned” $5.

I know $5 is not a big deal, but it’s a start. I received the money I gave to the waitress back in no more than 15 minutes. I was and still am stunned, in a good way of course.

I can’t wait to give the whole give-to-receive thing another shot. I’m looking forward to the results.

So here’s my advice to you. Start putting The Secret and the Law of Attraction to action. Start putting all of the principles to good use. Don’t wait 7 years like I did before putting the principles to practice .
