For many months I was in search of my perfect job but did not take my job pursuit too seriously, though I kept on announcing to my friends that I was going to be leaving soon. When I got serious about my search, COVID-19 happened to the world and all hirings were stopped. At that time, I spent hours applying on different job portals but no calls came for the job that I desired.

Finally, I sincerely decided to use my knowledge of the law of attraction to my advantage. I was determined to do the following daily practices:

1) The Art of Appreciation. I began appreciating the things, the people, and the situations in my life. Initially, it was a bit difficult to come out of the negative vortex, I persisted.

2) Visualization and Affirmations. I began writing daily on my notepad that I have gotten the perfect job and it was just as I had wanted. I listed all of its features. While doing so, I also imagined it and felt a wave of excitement and happiness wash all over me. I kept doing this daily.

3) Action plan: I applied to all the jobs that I found that fit what I wanted and I started preparing for my interviews and updated my resume. I groomed myself because I knew that I may be called for a zoom interview with video at any time.

4) Faith. Since I started doing affirmations and visualizations, my faith in the Universe and in my ability continued to increase. I came to a point where I was completely and 100% sure of my new and perfect job and I was happy. Period.

Lo and behold! I finally got a call from one of the most prestigious companies in India and they scheduled an interview 3 days later. I prepared for it with all my heart since the profile was good and they were offering me the highest pay package, better than my expectation. I knew in my heart that this was it!

My interview went well and then there was a second round of interviews the next day! The managers who interviewed me were all nice, friendly, and jolly and it didn’t really even feel like an interview.

After a few days, they called me to say that I had gotten the job. I internally knew by now that this job was already mine but at that point, my reaction ranged from wow to Wow!!!

I am extremely grateful to the Universe and to myself as I did not give up. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the best job in the world!
