I learned about The Secret over a year ago. It helped me get a great new job, nice car, and the body I’ve always wanted. The one that I was missing was my dream guy. Like the book said, I wrote down my list of all the qualities I was looking for in a guy, and forgot about it.

I started dating different guys all of whom I knew from the start weren’t right for me. One day, I decided I’m done settling and wanted the dream guy that I had asked for. No sooner had I proclaimed this, I started talking to a new guy I had met a couple of days ago. The more I learned about him, the more I realized he was the one! However, instead of being grateful, I reverted back to my old ways and began doubting everything about him and us. Within a couple of months, he broke up with me and I was devastated.

The day after the breakup, I realized the error of my ways. I realized that I needed to go back to using The Secret if I wanted him back in my life. I wrote down all the great qualities about him and myself. I needed to fall back in love with myself again too. I did have moments of doubt, but reading the stories on this site helped me through it. I finally got to the point where I believed I deserved the best and continued living my life and enjoying everything about it.

One day at work I suddenly received an email from him. I was so excited and happy, and couldn’t stop smiling at realizing how amazing the Universe truly is. We have been communicating again and things are going better than ever! I never get out of bed in the morning without thanking the Universe for all the amazing things in my life, including my dream guy. I know he’s my soul mate and the one I’m going to marry.
