I worked at a mass retail store for a little over three years. I was very unhappy. Every morning I would wake up and tell myself, “Ugghh, another dreadful day at work.” Every night when I would go to bed I’d cry myself to sleep thinking how much I hated my life because of where I worked.

I was very depressed and I felt chained up to my work. One day when my chain became very heavy and I felt like I could not carry it anymore, I came across “The Secret” at the store I worked at, and decided to buy it. I read the book in two days, it was so good I could not put it down. A few weeks after reading the book I turned in my two weeks notice without having a permanent backup job. I worked for ten weeks at a summer camp for a school district, and would tell myself, ” I have a permanent job here during the school year”. Sure enough my boss told me I had a permanent job for the school year with them.

At that moment I felt relieved, and “free at last”. Because of “The Secret” and me putting the Law of Attraction to good use, I obtained my freedom from my job I hated so much (although I was grateful I had one) and got the job I always wanted, needless to say with less hours, higher pay, and full benefits, I am happier than I could of ever imagined. If you believe, you can achieve great things in life.
