First of all I have been reading the shared stories for a few weeks now. I asked the universe that I would have the courage to share my story with everyone and hope that it will encourage more people to use The Secret in their life.

I have known The Secret since 2007, the first time it was shown on local TV. In fact I actually did not see it that night. I wanted to do something else rather than watch The Secret movie. My husband and my daughters saw it and told me afterward how amazing it was. Anyway, my husband bought the book and the DVD, and through my husband’s encouragement I read and watched the DVD. I was hooked. When I went to work I took the book with me regularly and read it during break times. And the magic started happening in our lives.

My husband left his teaching job and started his accounting firm with no clients at all. At the time I was worried because same as everyone else we had a mortgage to pay. But my husband had faith in The Secret that everything would be ok and that we always make it. So we asked, believed, we wrote our gross fees that we wanted for the first year, being $90k, second year $270k, third year $500k, and so on.

Within 3 months opportunities just turned up. A childhood friend of my husband who had a bookkeeping business just called one day regarding a student who had applied for a job and he used my husband as a referee. Anyway, to make my story short, due to personal reasons he sold his bookkeeping clients to us. On that first year of business we achieved our gross fees of $90k – we were so happy and grateful.

When the second year was approaching we had been visualizing that we will achieve our $270k in turnover. Sometimes I had doubts that we would never attain our goals but we kept visualizing and had faith that they would come somehow.

One day out of the blue my husband received a phone call from his old boss in Sydney informing my husband that there was accounting fees for sale in Tasmania and that did he know about it. Anyway my husband called the agency and inquired about it. We found out that the owner wanted $300k for his accounting practice. We really wanted to buy it because we knew that would help us to achieve our second year gross fee target. But we didn’t have the money to buy it because we used our savings to buy the first bookkeeping business. We never gave up, we kept believing and visualizing that we could get finance, so we started inquiring with a few financial institutions in our local bank to get loans. We had been told that they could only lend us between 65% and 80% of $300k. Again we just kept believing that somehow someone would lend us 100%. My husband contacted the agency and told the agent that we really wanted to buy but we needed 100% finance. She recommended a lending institution who specialized in lending to accounting practices. And guess what? We were given a 100% loan. We bought our second accounting practice with no money down from us. I would say that this is The Secret working. If my husband’s old boss didn’t call about the accounting practice for sale in our local area we wouldn’t have known about it.

This is our third year in our accounting business and our goal is $500k and so far we have $410k already in gross fees, and we have only 3 months left before June 30, 2010. My husband and I believe that we are going to achieve that extra $90k before June.

I have printed out a blank cheque and have a vision board in my office for other things I want. I told everyone I know in the office that I will receive 100k this month. I can’t wait to share my stories about me manifesting my 100k that I have asked the universe for.
