I was miserable living in a city where I did not know a single person besides my bitter co-workers at a soul-sucking law firm. I was physically deteriorating from the stress and starting to have anxiety attacks on a regular basis. I had been looking for a new job for months without any luck.

After watching The Secret I started trying to change the direction of my energy in order to change my life. I decided to take the risk and quit my job even though I didn’t have anything lined up yet. I visualized the right opportunity coming to me, and within days I was working again, despite the tight job market.

Even though the position was just a temporary one, I could already feel myself coming back to life and happiness returning. I constantly expressed my gratitude for escaping from my former life. I never had much luck with love in the past, but I started focusing on love surrounding me, specifically finding a man that was as crazy in love with me as I was with him.

Literally within a few days the love of my life started work at my new office, and the connection was instant. I never knew a man could be so perfect for me. The Universe delivered someone even better than I knew existed!

I couldn’t believe what was happening, but I decided to keep going. Since my job was a temporary one I decided to start focusing on finding a permanent job that I really loved that could support me financially. I had already applied and interviewed for a job that I thought would be perfect for me, but I knew the competition was intense, and since I didn’t have much experience I wasn’t expecting to get it. I again decided to shift my thinking to knowing that I would get the job if it was right for me. Sure enough, I got the job!!!

I had the perfect man and the perfect job. What did I want next? I had been wanting to be a homeowner for a long time, but I wasn’t financially ready. I didn’t know how I would be able to come up with a down payment or qualify for a mortgage, but I decided to try anyway. Sure enough, the Universe made a way for me when there had been no way before.

The Secret definitely works. You might not be able to see how you will get from where you currently are to where you want to go, but God will make a way. Have faith and implement the principles of gratitude and visualization, and you will have amazing results!!
