Poverty Opting For Love
Submitted by: Tseleng Rasegwete
Gauteng, SAI am a 28 year old qualified electrical engineer, unemployed, and have a beautiful daughter. I am leading a very positive life after seeing Rhonda on Oprah sometime last year.
I live in a part of the Gauteng Province in South Africa where poverty is everywhere, making it difficult to focus on abundance as The Secret book suggests. I haven’t seen the movie yet, but after reading the book and also reading The Science of Getting Rich, I told myself, “I have to be rich first in order to eradicate poverty around me.” I am not saying I’ll be a lifesaver, but now all I see and feel is the end result of what I am about to achieve.
I noticed a new person in me, and the result is that although I may not be employed, my family and I are experiencing abundance in all forms of happiness; food, unexpected money – it doesn’t matter how much it is, at the end of the day it makes a difference, and I see I can provide for my daughter.
I have changed the way I look at things, and the things I look at change. Every day I declare, “Thy will be done this day, today is a day of completion, and I give thanks for this perfect day. Miracles shall follow miracles and wonders shall never cease.” Believe me, every day is a miracle and I give thanks for it.
If I can do it here, in a so-called Third World, anyone can do it. Ask, believe, and see yourself receiving.
I salute the divinity in all of you (The Secret team, teachers) and most of all Rhonda, for this wonderful book.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
