Everything Happens For A Reason.

Gold Coast, AustraliaI am a 38 year old mother with a 12 year old daughter. I, like everyone else, work, pay rent and want to live life in a positive way.
So I work in a busy pathology company running a crazy switchboard, giving results to doctors etc., etc. Yeah it’s a good reliable job and honestly I have enjoyed it, but I am in my comfort zone, I’m stressed, there’s no staff appreciation and I hated change.
I’ve had a massive life change. 3 years ago I got divorced, lost my home and lost all belief in myself, my future and in the world. The only thing I had was my daughter and my job.
About 2 months ago I had seen that my best friend had the book The Magic on her bedside table. I borrowed it from the library and started to practice every thing I read. I noticed small positive changes. I eventually wanted to change jobs down the track and work in a specialist center.
A few weeks had gone past and I was still doing my daily practice of The Magic and being super grateful for everything in my life. I also incorporated my new habit of at the end of the day, writing all my negative things down and burning them. What ever gets you through the day!
Well, last week the universe took me on a crazy ride!
Through my job on the phones I was offered my dream job!!
I was really nervous about it all. I went home and my 12 year old daughter told me to go for it! I even Googled how to do a resume. Ha ha. So I emailed my “slap it together” resume off.
I kid you not, the next morning I got a reply saying to come in for an interview!
So off I went, but on the basis that I would trust my intuition and go with my gut feeling. I was thankful for the opportunity.
Yep, I got the job!
But something was telling me “No, no, not this one”. So I declined it.
I told them my reasons why and they offered me a few more days to think about it.
I messaged a friend on Facebook. She was saying her old position in a specialist center was open, too. She gave me the details and I sent my resume off.
Same thing happened. I got a reply almost instantly saying to come in!
Trusting my self and being grateful with my new belief. I went to that interview.
Yes, I felt so comfortable saying to myself “This is the job for me, this is my job. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!”
Well, that afternoon I got my dream job!
I accepted my offer and handed in my resignation from my comfortable 14 year old job. I start in 2 weeks! My new dream job has the little details that my current job lacks, including on site parking, paid lunch breaks, a cafe and a whopping $8 per hour pay increase.
See, believing is the key. I know I will do well. Changing negative thoughts to positive ones and I found my life started changing.
You will find you won’t need to work hard for your goals, your goals will find you! Doors will open in the strangest ways. My new life is starting with my new belief system. It works!
