Dream Vacation Like The Universe Was Eavesdropping!
Submitted by: Ruby K.
San Jose, CaliforniaAn Asian Indian settled in the USA. I am a single mother of 3 beautiful kids. An Engineer by education, works in IT, is spiritually inclined, and loves new experiences. I enjoy walks in nature, reading, and traveling. I have followed The Secret teachings for more than a decade. I have been able to manifest my dream home and my luxury car a few years ago!
I had a dream vacation as if the Universe had been eavesdropping.
This is going to be a bit of a long story. Things had been brewing for a while at the startup where I was working. Finally, in July of this year, everyone was let go. I was at a low point in life due to various reasons. So I made a last minute decision to travel to my home country, India before I took another job.
Traveling on this particular airline for the first time was a very pleasant experience. At a duty-free shop during my stopover in Amsterdam, I asked the owner where to find good coffee at the airport. He offered coffee at his shop. The coffee was really good and served in a very exquisite cup and saucer. I was delighted at this small manifestation.
My vacation was going fine. I met with extended family and a few friends, celebrated my birthday, went to places, and enjoyed local delicacies. On my birthday, I wanted to visit places where I grew up in the city including the home where I was born. But it did not happen. However, I met with this new person a couple of days later and he not only took me around but turned out that his family lived on the same street where I was born and probably our fathers knew each other. What a coincidence!
Just before my return, I got sick and had to extend my trip. Never in 18 years of traveling to India had I gotten sick. Anyways I thought I could use some rest. A day later a friend who had moved back to India asked me to come to visit her in a beautiful city called Jaipur. I jumped at the opportunity and booked a flight a couple of days later. Secretly, I had been wanting to go there but couldn’t ask her myself.
She was the most wonderful host. I had the most beautiful view from the room where she put me up. We ate a lot of good food, shopped and did sightseeing. Then out of nowhere, she planned to take me to Agra to see the world-famous Taj Mahal. Now that was a dream come true! It was a bucket list item that I couldn’t do during my original trip. I was overjoyed as if the Universe was listening to my thoughts. After my return to my hometown, I connected with a couple more of my grade school friends and we had a good time.
Now I had to travel 6 hours to get to Delhi to catch a flight back to the US. I had wanted to go there a day or 2 earlier and wanted a comfortable ride to Delhi. Due to baggage, I could not take the domestic flight. So one of the school friends that I had met again after 32 years, arranged a brand new taxi for me. The taxi had a trusted driver and was filled with a lot of goodies for a very comfortable ride. Throughout the journey, he connected with me to ensure everything went smoothly. Just as an FYI, it’s not always the safest thing for a solo girl with lots of luggage to travel in a taxi in North India.
I was dropped off at my childhood best friend’s parents’ house in Delhi and the taxi guy didn’t accept payment saying it was covered. That was very generous of my friend and a manifestation for me since I secretly didn’t want to pay so much for my travel to Delhi.
I had the best time at my friend’s house. Her mom treated me like her own daughter and we reminisced about our school days. Now, how did I end up there? A couple of days before my final flight back home I had called aunty just to say hello. She insisted that I meet her and stay with her this time. How could I say no? As it was, I had wanted to go to Delhi at least a day before my flight. There I even got a chance to meet another school friend and had a good conversation. My flight was at 4 AM. My mom was worried about I how would get to the airport after midnight by myself as taxis are not safe late at night. My friend’s brother not only arranged for a reliable cab but even went to the airport along with his wife to drop me off. Now that’s called the Universe being on your side!
On my trip back home, I had hoped for good seats in the aircraft and I got aisle seats. So it was a comfortable journey home.
I just felt I was very blessed and in alignment with the Universe during this trip. It was the best India trip ever! Let’s see what I manifest next! Thank you for The Secret.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
