I am a single mother of a teenage son. I have had my share of ups and downs in struggling because of my negative thinking and thoughts of defeat.

I went through a rough patch in dealing with financial issues. During this phase I moved back in with my grandmother who was terminally ill. I helped her while living there and really focused on strengthening our bond. We became very close and since I am her only grandchild and my son is her only great grandchild we received a large inheritance.

Prior to this I have a vision board that I put in my room focusing on improving my situation and focusing on making smart money moves along with reading a chapter a day from The Secret. I stopped worrying about how it was going to happen and just believed that it would, eventually.

I am beyond grateful for my grandmother’s love and what she did for her family. I am truly blessed!
