My husband and I have a business we started 2 years ago, basically depending on very good friends with a lot of integrity to help us work out the details. The first year was tough with working out the rough spots. The second year better. About 6-8 months ago, things pretty much came to a screeching halt with the economy being the way it is. We went back to using Credit Cards again more than we want to, just to survive both at home and for the business.

I purchased “The Secret” DVD after hearing about it several times. My husband (a skeptic) agreed to watch it. Much to my surprise he was taken by it. We watched it several times but still hadn’t followed it as much as we intended to. Old habits of doing nothing haunted us. We bought the book and decided to slowly read it each night before going to sleep. We began to incorporate it much more into our lives. We now read a different story (posted on your site) each morning before starting our day for motivation. We have a vision board and we remind each other on a daily basis the importance of gratitude to God for what we presently have.

Things have truly started to turn around for the better. It is quite a challenge at first to change your way of thinking from so much negativity. But we are proof positive that it gets easier and does work. We think of what we could have accomplished had we started this sooner, but it is forward from here. We have had instances that has proven to us it works, which will come at a later date. Don’t, don’t give up no matter how hard it appears to be. It is only our past negative thinking that keeps us from moving on at this point.
