I would like to share a personal story of my own. I was going on a Hong Kong trip with all my team members a few days ago. We were all getting ready for this trip because we believed that it was going to be a very wonderful experience. We were there at 4.30 in the morning, and we were preparing to check in for our flight. For this trip we booked standby tickets, which cost around 300 dollars. What we did not know was that for this ticket, if the plane is full, we would have to wait for another time till the plane is not full. When we were checking in, the person in charge said that we would have to wait until 6.00am until we would get an answer, because the plane could only allow 6 person to enter. We have a team of 12 over there. The plane was supposedly taking off at 6.40am.

We waited and waited until 6am, and still there was no reply. Everyone was getting worried, because we could not afford for a delay in our trip as everything was planned according to schedule. We waited till 6.30am. Still there was no reply, and everyone began to panic. 10 minutes left for us. Everyone was thinking the plane is going to take off, it’s not going to wait for us. However for me, after reading so many stories from The Secret, I began applying it. I was thinking that I would be sitting on the plane. I kept saying out loud that we would enter the plane, a miracle would surely happen for us, believe and you will have it! Then within the last 1 min, the person finally helped us get our boarding tickets, everyone ran towards the boarding gate as if they had never ran before. We finally managed to enter the gate and realised that the plane actually waited for us for the extra 5 minutes. I was really glad that the Secret did work, and I believe that it will work with more things in my life. 🙂
