I’ve known The Secret now for about a year. I remember the first time I watched it. All the other students in class thought it was fake and laughed, but I had a feeling that this stuff might actually be real. Then came the first act of the law attraction without me knowing. I had only gotten to see the first 20 minutes of the film, but I really wanted to see the whole thing. Low and behold, the next day my teacher gave me a copy of The Secret. She said that I needed it and it would help me a lot!!! (Quite an understatement)

Fast forward a couple of months and I had read The Secret and watched the DVD repeatedly, and was using the law of attraction. Yet, no matter how many times I was able to attract something small, I was never able to really harness the law of attraction to bring bigger things into my life. Every time something I had wanted didn’t show up I’d get fed up and go on an attracting hiatus for a couple of days. It didn’t help that my entire family thought The Secret was a joke and repeatedly rejected it without even trying it. Every time that I followed The Secret teachings they would say I was crazy. When I made a vision board I would keep them hidden so as not to have to listen to them make fun of it.

Finally, I realized that I shouldn’t be embarrassed about using The Secret. I was doubting The Secret by being afraid to proclaim these beliefs, and in the process erasing any chance I had of manifesting my goals and dreams. Today, I am a making a giant vision board and putting it up where everyone can see it. I’ve had enough of being negative and being told that this can’t work. I know that writing these words now is the big change I’ve been asking for. It is erasing all my doubt and releasing me of any fear I had. Thank you!
