I recently started using The Secret and I mix it with some meditation. During one of my meditation sessions, I traveled back in time to 2015, the year I met my wife. I was sitting with my brother in a restaurant and this beautiful lady walked in. She walked straight to our table and asked for a chair. But as she walked in, I said to my brother, “That’s gonna be my wife.” That night we began chatting and I dropped her off at home and to cut a long story short, a year later I asked her to marry me and she said yes.

The real story though is that, 2 years earlier I had broken up with my then girlfriend. I was heartbroken and despondent. I remember sitting on a flight to Ethiopia crying and feeling miserable, reflecting all kinds of negative energy. But on my way back to South Africa, I sat at the airport and I started making notes in my iPad about the qualities I would like in a partner. I read those notes over and over again, visualized it, and boom! In 2015 that person walked in at that restaurant just like that. I didn’t know about The Secret then but having started this journey, I realize now that was me doing exactly what The Secret teaches, without me knowing it.

Thank you for the teachings, thank you for the enlightenment, and thank you for sharing The Secret. Now that I know, this will be how I live my life.
