I’m reading The Secret for the fourth time now, and I was searching for some inspiration in this website. Then I found this person who said she wanted to see ladybugs every day. Long story short, I tried it. To be precise, I started wishing on 3rd January, 2010. I said to myself, “I want to see a butterfly every day, starting from tomorrow!” (since I don’t see them very often).

The next day:
(I actually forgot to make it my intention) when I was waiting for my mom to pick me up from my English course place, I happened to look at a big black butterfly. I hadn’t realized it was my wish being fulfilled.

2 days after wishing:
I walked out of my house. I saw one! I gasped, it has never been there before!

3 days after wishing:
Again, I walked out of my house and gasped because I saw yesterday’s butterfly, and I also saw one in my school!

4-5 days after wishing:
Same as before, in front of my house and in the school! I started thinking, “I’m sure this butterfly flew and moved to my house because I attracted it!!”

6 days after wishing:
I saw one in front of my house, and I was about to go to my Japanese course and thought, “Some days I saw 2-3… Can I see more today?” GUESS WHAT?? Within 45 minutes in my car going to the place, I SAW 20-30 BUTTERFLIES!!! And most of those are because I HAPPENED to turn my head around, or the butterfly just flew across my car!! AMAZING, ISN’T IT!? I didn’t even know there were so many butterflies in South Jakarta!

Days after that, I didn’t make it my intention anymore, but you know what? I’ve NEVER had a day without butterflies. There are so many in my school!
