I met Tim when I was 8 years old. He was the oldest brother of a good friend of mine. For as long as I remember, I knew I was going to marry him. For 10 years he didn’t pay much attention to me, though our families spent every summer together at our cottages, very close to each other. Every night I’d imagine my pillow was Tim, always close to me. I knew in my heart that we were going to be together one day. We went to the same schools, though he was one year ahead of me. I had several boyfriends in the meantime, but not one of them measured up.

When I was 16, he and his family moved to another province. I was heartbroken. His sister and I kept in sporadic contact for the following 2 years. I graduated from high school, and started college the following fall.

Just before Christmas vacation, I received a letter from my friend, saying that she and her boyfriend and her brother would like to come visit me over the holidays. I was ecstatic! They arrived late one evening two days after Christmas, driving over 8 hours to get to me, and we all returned to my college apartment. I knew in my heart that if I let him go this time without letting him know how strongly I felt about him, that he’d return to his home and it would take an act of God to get us together. I gave my heart to him and I am so thankful that he felt the same as I did!

We have not been apart for the last 34 years, and this September we will be welcoming our very first grandchild.

Throughout my life I have experienced many other miracles through the laws of attraction without knowing it had a name! We looked at a beautiful house that was very much out of our price range, but immediately I knew that it was the house for us. That evening and for the next few weeks, I’d spend the time before falling asleep arranging our furniture in this house. We moved in 2 months later and are still here 8 years later.

Now I encourage some people I meet at my place of work who seem to be living with a huge dark cloud over their heads to go to the library and take out the movie. I live in such gratitude for all the blessings in my life, and know that others can attain it also.
