It was auction season and that’s when all art schools in New York start auditioning students for the upcoming year. This is where my knowledge of The Secret comes in.

To get in a school you need to make a portfolio with your best artwork, so I started drawing my butt off, and I was pretty shocked with the result because it came out so amazing! I didn’t even know I could draw that good.

When the day of the audition came, I was pretty relaxed and confident about my work and followed the steps of The Secret: Ask, Believe, Receive. I asked to get into the Frank Sinatra School of Arts, and I acted as if I was already accepted. I went into the building as if I was already a student, and my auction came out pretty well.

Months passed and in February is when they tell you if you got in or not. When I got my acceptance letter I was so happy and full of joy. Of course I knew The Secret would work, so I gave my thanks to the universe and now I’m studying art, my passion.
