A Literally Answered Pray!

I am still shaking from the wonder of it all! I opened the FedEx envelope, pulled out the letter expecting another demand of payment from BofA on an overdue loan. I almost threw the envelope away! What I read had me falling to my knees, crying and thanking God.
About a month ago I came upon The Secret movie at a point in my life when I had nothing to lose but to give it a try. The only difference is that I placed my Lord God into everything that I executed in practicing the Laws of Attraction (LofA). I do not compromise in not following His laws and commandments, so I did not compromise on this. Not only in my day-to-day thinking did I use the LofA, but in my prayers as well. After all, it was the Lord God that created the universe. The universe is controlled by Him.
But first a little background.
Six months previously, I had been battling BofA about a home equity loan I took out in 2004 for $13,000. I paid religiously on the loan for 10 years, never missing a payment. Then I come to find out that every payment was INTEREST ONLY.
In 10 years of making the minimum payments, I paid close to $10,000 in interest and very little went towards principal. I got a letter from BofA that now, after 10 years, I will have to continue to pay the $80 in interest and on top of that, pay an additional $80 to go towards the principal.
I had no idea! It was obviously a fraudulent loan. By the time I paid the principal, I would have paid close to 100 percent in interest alone, on top of the 100% of principal. For a $13,000 loan, I would have eventually paid $26,000!
I am a reasonable person, and in good faith, I called BofA to see about a loan modification and appealed to their sense of decency and fairness. Needless to say, they were nasty and unrelenting. Unwilling to work with me in any way. I tried hard, and in the end, I filed complaints with the BBB, Department of Justice and wrote to my Stateâs Attorney General. BofA held firm, not bending one bit. I had no choice; I stopped paying on the loan. As a result, 6 month later, BofA was harassing me for payment, my balance owed was close to $1400, and my great credit score went from 728 to poor 601.
My situation was already dire, with my unemployment benefits running out and me not being able, for the first time in my life, to meet my financial obligations each month. BofA was trampling me even further into the mud.
I knew that BofA lost a court battle years previously pertaining to fraudulent mortgages and had to pay a settlement to customers, but I was told that those funds were all gone. But LofA would not allow me to believe or accept it.
So, about a month ago, after seeing and then reading more on applying the LofA with God in the picture, I download a free app that allowed me to list my LofA “wishes”. So, I used this new app and made a wish a month ago. Here is EXACTLY what I wrote:
By 27 April 2015 I have received a letter from a representative of the Bank of America class action settlement announcing that my loan has been forgiven.
The date was totally random. I added the BofA logo with a red circle with slash cutting it in the middle. I also added a note saying: God has given me justice from those who oppress me. Those powerful and greedy companies who took advantage of me. God has brought satisfaction and a blessing for trying to work with this company.
Today, I was sitting in my chair when the FedEx truck pulled up. BofA has used this method to harass me into paying, and immediately my heart sunk. As the man handed me the envelope, I asked if I could decline acceptance, and he shook his head, telling me to just throw it away.
Again, I almost threw it away without opening! But thankfully, I was compelled to see what they had to say. It was from BofA. This was what I read:
April 24, 2015
Account Number: (my loan number)
Dear (my full name):
We are pleased to let you know that we have approved your home equity account for a principal forgiveness program offered by BofA as part of its recent settlement with the Department of Justice.
You will receive a full forgiveness of the remaining principal balance of $12,685.55 on your home equity account. That means that you will no longer owe this amount, and we will also waive any outstanding fees and accrued interest.
The letter continues towards the end:
Also, once we forgive the remaining balance on your home equity account, we will report to the major credit bureaus that your account was paid and charged off.
Shaking uncontrollably, crying and falling to my knees in thanking God, I then remembered the wish. I did not remember what date. Rushing to my Kindle, I opened the app and stared in disbelief.
April 27, 2015. Todayâs date!
Literally and perfectly, my prayer was answered. The joy felt in this realization only makes my relationship with my Holy Father stronger and belief and obedience in His laws, unbreakable.
