I stumbled upon “The Secret” seemingly by chance, or so I thought. At the time, I had just been prescribed antidepressants, received a diagnosis showing signs of fibromyalgia, and was feeling very down, sad, and anxious. Within 15 minutes of watching The Secret movie, I felt a weight lift from my heart. It seemed like the solution to all my dreams and a sign that anything was possible! I had not felt so inspired in months!

The Secret suggested to start small, like manifesting a cup of coffee. So I told myself that I wanted Starbucks and imagined myself drinking a pumpkin spice latte! Two days later my fiance came home with 2 Starbucks gift cards, both equaling $5 given to him by a client. That is worth 2 cups of coffee!! I did it! Lol, it really works.

Money had been scarce for a while, and we had to borrow some money to pay for a utility bill. I did not think about how I was going to pay it back, but I also did not worry about it. Somehow the Universe was going to make everything perfect. Back to this story in a minute!

I have a mid-range hearing loss due to chronic ear infections as a child. In middle school, my mother bought me hearing aids, and they lasted till I was 21. I have been without any hearing aids for 8 years but I felt like I could function OK without them. I read some of The Secret success stories on this site and saw what people were manifesting for themselves, and I was inspired to be grateful for my hearing! I pictured everything being loud and clear!

A couple of days later, I got a call from my grandma saying that my grandpa had bought new hearing aids and wanted to give me the old ones. The old ones are not even old! They are only about a year old! My heart was flooded with gratitude! So much so that I reached my hands to the sky and yelled, thank you!! When I went to go visit them, they told me that the audiologist would recalibrate them for me for free, which is usually $200. Then my grandpa came to where I was sitting and laid a $100 bill in front of me and told me that he knew I really needed it. I wanted to cry! That money made it possible for me to pay back the person that I had borrowed money from only a week later!! I am so blessed! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am so truly grateful, from the bottom of my heart for every person who posts their stories for inspiration! I am also so grateful for The Secret team! I appreciate so many things so much more now and the negative thoughts are just falling away! It is just like they said it would. Some people still have doubts, but they will soon see how the law of attraction works!
