Someone I didn’t know very well at the time told me about The Secret and how wonderful it was. I have always been into that kind of stuff so immediately got my husband to order it on the internet for me. As soon as I got the book I started reading it and couldn’t put it down. At the time the economy had taken a nose dive and there was nothing but doom and gloom every where you turned. In work there was constant talk of redundancies and the moral was awful. Despite this, I kept a positive attitude and did what Rhonda said and didn’t dwell on what other people proclaimed would happen (and still haven’t) I stopped reading the newspapers and only occasionally listened to the news. I bought the audio tapes and listened intently every time I was in the car. Suddenly I felt alive and much happier in myself. My relationships at home improved and our home became a fun place to be.

We had put our son’s name forward for a private school which is extremely hard to get into. We went along to the open evening and there were literally hundreds of parents there. My husband was very sceptical and said there was no way we would succeed – we had no connections. I kept thanking the Universe every day for the place my son would be offered and believed with all my heart that he would get that place. And yes – he did. Just before Xmas we got a letter confirming his acceptance – we weren’t even called for an interview – we got the place just on our application – 1st miracle.

I put a vision board in my bathroom and just the other night I drew (badly) a picture of my husband and the word manager over his head. Today he got word from his boss that he has been promoted – 2nd miracle

Every day little things happen me – I always, always get a car parking spot where I ask for one – I see feathers in the most unusual places – to me these are signs from the Universe saying everything I dream of is going to work out the way I want.

I am so grateful to have a part time job but my dream is to be at home full time and be able to drop my son to school every day and collect him every evening. We also want to put an extension onto the back of our house and have an abundance of money in the bank. I know this will come true and I look forward to writing another post very, very soon telling everyone.
