My father has always had profound insights on everything in life. Until recently, I hadn’t a cooking clue what he was talking about. He had frequently mentioned the fact that the Universe was created by thought, and although I didn’t understand what he was saying at the time (because I was 12 years old), I always knew in my heart that someday I would understand and make use of this information, for my benefit.

I spent a very challenging yet vital year in Amsterdam as a au pair in 2008. I was due to start studying at the University of Capetown in 2009, and my mom had promised me a laptop. Being me, and always wanting the best in life, I didn’t want just any laptop – I wanted a Macbook. My mom said that if I could save some of the money for it she would help me get it. I asked my host parents if I could do a little extra work to earn a little bit more, but they blatantly refused (they weren’t all that nice). I was disappointed, but the Macbook was mine. Little did I know at the time that by downloading pictures of my laptop and constantly visiting the website, I was attracting it into my life.

I enrolled at UCT in 2009 and I still didn’t have my Macbook. As I was settling in I met this amazing boy who would later become the love of my life. He had The Secret DVD and encouraged me to watch it. I realised that my laptop was taking so long to manifest because I kept on moaning about how long it was taking. Moreover, I hated going to the computer labs because they were always full. I started appreciating the labs and telling myself that I already had my laptop. I was shocked at my mom’s sudden change of mind to totally fund my laptop, because the total cost came up to R20000 ($2000).

So now I enjoy my laptop and everybody admires it when they see me working with it. It is efficient, pretty, and everything that I thought it would be. The law of attraction began working with me even before I discovered The Secret. The Secret turbo-boosted the achieving of my dream!

Now I’m focusing on winning the lottery and surely that is already happening! So I’ll be writing again soon.
