Harvard University, HERE I COME!
About 2 months ago, my mother sat down with me and began discussing my future with me. I had everything planned to head into the University of Utah where they have an amazing Cardiology Program, and it was definitely the field that I wanted to go into. I told her my plans and she asked me why I didn’t want to reach farther than just minimally decent. I told her that there was no way I wanted to go into a university outside of the state, and that it would be hopeless. She mentioned Harvard University and I could not wrap my mind around the concept of me attending the number one prestige university in the world. I blew her off and just continued on with my normal life.
One day I went into class and one of my teachers began discussing her stay at Harvard and how amazing it was… from then on I knew it was what I really wanted. I printed out a quote from the Harvard University website and placed it in my bathroom, and every time I went in, I repeated the quote to myself and felt extremely happy.
A couple of weeks later, my teacher told me she had found something I would be interested in, and I don’t know how it happened, but I began the application process one week later, and continued to feel the “feelings of gratitude” whenever I walked into my bathroom.
I remember the day I found out that I had been accepted. I was so happy. There is no way to describe how extremely happy I was.
“Somehow, a way will be made.”
And here I am, today. Sitting on the front steps of the Widener Library preparing for my next Midterm in Neurobiology.
I have had a wonderful experience with the law of attraction. It has truly changed my life.
