A Mother And Businesswoman With Big Ambitions.

Gurgaon, IndiaI am an 'Ex-Googler' and for the last 6 years, the Cofounder of my own Digital Agency. I am also a mommie of two superbly cute and naughty kids. It's amazing how life has shaped up for me over the years and I am just loving it more and more with every passing year.
Me and my sister worked at Google for a few years. Around the same time, we decided to take the plunge and start our own firm where we would grow small businesses digitally. Being married to another entrepreneur, it was quite a decision to make at that time. However, being the crazy bunch of people that we are, it turned out to be a smooth decision for the progressive next step in my career. We were completely open and prepared for all possible outcomes. Uncertainty and high-risk games are what entrepreneur minds thrive on.
About four years ago I remember visualizing, manifesting, meditating, and working tirelessly towards making my company a brand to be remembered. Reaching the first revenue milestone seemed like an uphill task and more than just ambitious for a new company with just a handful of clients. I would visualize how life would be once we met our professional and personal goals. How comfortable life would be and how easy it would be to make a lot of decisions.
A mix of The Secret and regular meditation practices starting doing the trick for me. Within the second year, we had met our first set of goals that we had planned on the day we formed the company. It made us set bigger goals, and in the following 3 years, we met those as well. My current goals are again ambitious and I’m quite sure I will meet those within the next few months.
But it’s interesting to realize that The Secret has been working for me for so long. With one success after another, I didn’t really have the time to pause and look back and appreciate it all until today. At a house party today, while we were discussing our earlier days, I happened to narrate to my friends the kind of goals we had. How we wished things would change but at the same time, how happy we were even when things weren’t really going as planned. I still look back at those days as some of the best of my life.
Today, I am the mommy of two little ones, a five-year-old daughter and a three-year-old son. I have been working to build a model. In it, the business keeps growing in the direction of our goals while I am still able to spend enough time with my kids without giving up anything on the work front. And to my surprise, I’m almost there. I agree the post COVID work culture had a role to play in it. But as we know, we don’t have to worry about the “how”. All we have to do is “ask” for what we want and leave the rest to the Universe to put the puzzle pieces together.
Today I am a successful businesswoman and a proud and content mom. I have so many things to be grateful for. I have healthy and gratifying relationships, like with my husband, who compliments me so well. It takes two, absolutely, insanely crazy and naively optimistic people to make the life that we have built, and we have worked hard to get here.
I am most grateful to my parents for teaching us how The Secret really works and for practicing what they preach. For showing us how to live a hearty and celebratory life. And for demonstrating how to make the most of gullible and overpowering situations while still understanding and prioritizing what matters most. In a world where women have so many battles to fight, especially in India, my sister and I have grown up to become torchbearers for a lot of young girls.
I am so grateful for this abundant and fulfilling life that surprises me every day. These days I am manifesting my next set of goals and hopefully, I will be writing about that story very, very soon. Till then, keep the magic going, everyone.
Thank you!
