The Dream Job.

EnglandI am 49 and have been with my now husband for nearly 9 years. I have 1 sister and a wonderful mother and father. My husband has 4 amazing children who light up my life. I love skiing, running, reading and cross stitch and spending time with my family and friends.
I was wanting to change jobs and in preparation for that, I started studying for my AAT qualification. Once I had completed levels 2 and 3, I started looking for a new job. I wanted a job where they would support me through my level 4 and also where there was potential progression. I wanted the job to be local, within 5 miles so that I could run to work in the morning. I knew this was a lot to ask but I constantly kept visualizing an advert for a job that had all of these things.
A few weeks went by and then I saw the perfect role. It was at a local company. They wanted someone partly qualified and there was the prospect of further advancement. I applied and got a call the very next day. It all almost sounded too good to be true!
I went for a drive to see where the company was and they had 2 parking spaces on the outside of the building, in which I visualized my car. At my interview, I asked if I could use the bathroom and when I went in there, in front of me was a shower. I could have cried as that meant I would be able to run to work and shower. From that moment on I kept telling myself that the job was mine, the job was mine.
After 2 interviews, I received a call offering me the job. There are no words to explain the sheer joy I felt at having secured my new role and the realization that The Secret really does work.
Guess what, I now park in one of those spaces!
