Hello everyone and The Secret team! I am grateful for these resources being given to the public!

Something surprising happened the other day! In the morning, I was intensely thinking about improving on my Brazilian Portuguese but was wondering why I had not met anyone here from Brazil and how nice it would be if I did. I casually let it go. And then, I was going to the kitchen wanting to drink lemongrass tea but didn’t get a chance to do so.

Later on, I was driving with my dad downtown. I hadn’t eaten so I decided to go to this deli I had not been to in a while. I went inside and ordered my sub at the deli. I was greeted at the counter by one of the owners who I usually speak to a lot. But something shocking occured!

I was looking at her tea boxes in the back and there was, lemongrass tea??? I was so shocked because they have never had that there nor does anyone in this small town drink lemongrass tea. I started saying, “You have lemongrass tea?,” in an excited voice. She said, “Yeah! My sister-in-law is Brazilian and she got us this lemongrass tea brand at a Brazilian shop where she lives in New York!”

Mind you, I live in a small town with less than 10,000 people in the South so that came as a surprise. I told her how I wanted to improve on my Brazilian Portuguese and meet people from Brazil but previously never had gotten a chance. She gave me her contact information so that I can speak to her.

After she gave me the tea in a hot water cup, she gave me my very own full lemongrass tea box. And on the box it says the name is called “Madrugada: Té de hierba de limón.”
