Change The Way You Look At Things And Things You Look At Change.

UkraineI am a student of the 3rd course of one of the best universities in my country. I am fully into The Secret and The Magic books. I only started to implement Rhonda Byrne's teachings in my life. Despite that I've already experienced some major positive changes in my life.
More than 6 years ago I attended school and was a part of a usual family. When I was small, we were really close. We travelled together, celebrated all the holidays, mother helped me with a homework and father taught me how to ride a bike and ski. Everyone thought my parents had a perfect relationship, but truly, they did not. Finally, they got divorced after 15 years of marriage because of my father’s preference to alcohol and mother’s inability to see the future with such a man. I can’t even explain how frustrated I was. Everything was ruined. My love to both of my parents and jealousy to mom’s new boyfriend were driving me crazy. Dad started drinking even more and mother suffered because of his depressing behaviour. As for me, I felt really terrible. I was torn between parents but couldn’t belong to any of them. I cried almost every day. I think it was the worst part of my life, ever.
Then I watched “The Secret”. If you are reading this, you probably can understand how great I felt when started to realize the power of the Universe, the law of attraction and my own possibilities for creating the future. I can’t say that the next day my life became completely different, but it was going to very soon.
At that time I was 14 and decided to delve into studying. Actually, I was always good at school but I thought that I could be even better. So I made my best in English, Math and Biology. I took part in National Educational competitions and achieved great results. My mother’s relationship with her new man lasted only for a year. They broke up eventually.
Mom found a new place for us to live and I entered the best school in my town with an extended focus on languages and mathematical knowledge. Our lives started to change even more. My father suddenly signed off drinking and started to visit us more and more often. We joked again and celebrated holidays but now there was no need to help me with homework and bike riding skills. I was writing my scientific work on English at that time and was dreaming to move to America some day. I even took part in a competition where the prize was to spend a year studying in an American school and living with an American family. It seemed to be a great opportunity except that it never worked out for me. But I didn’t give up dreaming. Finally, I finished my school and entered the most prestigious university in my country. Now I am still here, studying complex aviation technologies, preparing myself for a job in air traffic control.
My parents got back together. Moreover, they were always hoping to buy a house someday, but truly had no money. They had been renting an apartment for 10 years until getting divorced but after reuniting they received a heritage from my father’s grandmother. She died long ago, but her house was sold the year my parents started their new life together. So they received the money and managed to finally buy a house! Now they are deeply in love again. Making house repairs together, going to the cinema and planning the future for our “old, new family”.
They changed the way they looked at life and each other and as a result, life around them also changed. Father rejected alcohol once and for all, found second job and started to set new goals for himself. As for my mother, she started to be less stressed and became more caring. She found new friends and interests.
I am now the best student in our department, receiving an enhanced scholarship. Since the moment I watched “The Secret “movie and read “The Magic” and “The Power” I write gratitude lists every day and concentrate only on the positive. I take my visualisation board everywhere I live because I experienced how the pictures glued on the paper can become reality. This summer, for example, I visited the city where I mostly dreamed to be someday, London. I remember how sure I always was:”I’ll definitely be there. I’ll see Big Ben and Tower Bridge. I’ll drink an English tea and feel myself so happy”. But I couldn’t even imagine that it would be so soon. I just took part in a contest for students in aviation specialisation and became one of 100 winners who received the chance to fly to London for 4 days for free! I paid not a cent and managed to visit one of the most expensive cities in the world! But what is even more stunning is that my friend advised me to try my luck in Green Card Lotery one year ago. I thought “Why not”, submitted an application and completely forgot about it. I remembered to check results only this September and how astonished I was when I read that I was randomly selected for receiving the American Green Card! I won the lottery with the chances less than 1%. It blew my mind! My teenage dream about moving to America came true!
Now, when I experienced all the miracles of the law of attraction, I finally understood that it is me that restricts myself from being happy. The only thing that is important is to be grateful for your life right now! Have a dream, I would even say a goal. Be sure that you will definitely achieve it and of course, do something for its realisation. The Universe will help, but you also have to take part with inspired action! So, dream big!
