I was at standstill in my life a few years ago.

My depression had started after the loss of my mother and I was having problems with my marriage due to it.

Our cable to our television was acting up and my children wanted to watch something on a local channel, so I reached behind the television to unplug it. While I was kneeling on the floor to unplug the cable line, the television had Oprah Winfrey on. I could hear what she was saying and the whole program was about The Secret. I literally sat on my knees transfixed on the show. I left and bought the book immediately!

We had a beautiful piece of property in an exclusive location given to us, but they would not write insurance in the area because of multiple hurricanes. I applied The Secret and changed our address to a Post Office box at the new location. I loved the house we owned, but really wanted a new one!

Within the week of changing my address, my husband’s cousin was riding with his insurance agent friend. They rode by our property and his cousin casually mentioned it was where we want to build, and the agent said that they had just started using a new insurance company that would insure any new buildings in that area!

He called the next day, and we started construction within six weeks!

During the build, I remembered how The Secret worked and I used it for two more things.

First, I imagined a check from nowhere. Every day I thought about it.

In two weeks, I got a check for $380 from a company that was sued over automatically deducting money from people’s accounts. I didn’t even know there was a lawsuit!

Then I lost my really expensive sunglasses. I loved those glasses and I tried to find the exact pair, but I couldn’t. I had looked for four days in the area I thought I lost them in. Several friends and family did the same. I told my construction crew that I was going to visualize finding the glasses, so I was going to take about 30 minutes to imagine finding them in my mind. I sat down on a chair and literally pictured myself walking around looking for them. In my imagination, I looked down to see the glasses lying on the ground.

I got up, duplicated what I had visioned, walked to the spot, looked down, and there they were!

Not broken, or anything. In a spot that six or seven people had looked at dozens of times. I started jumping up and down, and to this day every guy on the crew thought I planted it there.

I’ve used The Secret a few other times, with the same amazing success. It’s how I found the perfect renter for our other house. I haven’t used it in a long while and I don’t know why, but I’m about to do it again. I have a two story shed in the back of our house that I’m converting into a house for rent. I’m going to do a vision board so it will look exactly as I want it to look in my head! The only limitations is your own mind!
