Graduating Medical School!
Submitted by: Sabina A.
New York, NY26 year old senior in medical school with the biggest belief in the power of love!
I am less than 4 months away from graduating medical school.
I am healthy, strong, and so happy with my body and fitness status. My life sparkles. My heart explodes with joy. Where would I be if I didn’t discover The Secret, more specifically The Power?
I don’t know. What I do know is that I am exactly where I am supposed to be and the struggles of the most disheveled and confusing year of my life were much less challenging when I exhibited love to everything in my life and didn’t doubt my success.
I took and passed my Clinical Skills practical boards, I took and passed Clinical Sciences written boards, I excelled at my clerkships, I went back to my favorite clerkship and spent another 5 weeks with them and even though it could have gone either way, I had faith that my instincts were correct and things were supposed to work out. I learned more, made better relationships and fell in love with the program more than ever. I had fun and also had wonderful interviews for residency programs. My best interview being at my #1 choice where the director took me to lunch and pretty much gave me the impression that the interview is nothing but a formality.
After the interviews I had so much free time and I began working on my self image, loving my body, going to the gym, eating whole foods, no fried cheap foods, no high fructose corn syrup or aspartame/sucralose. I love my body and how healthy I feel! My chronic neck pains are gone, I sleep like a baby, my energy is off the roof! I love my life, I love me!
There are so many other “small” but so very significant things that have improved for me as well, like the health of my skin and eye sight. My relationships with my lovely family and wonderful friends escalated in a positive direction as I continue my search for another bestfriend, my future husband.
As the excellent benefits of loving with all my heart add up and the important dates on my calendar get crossed out there are so many more things to look forward to!
1. My healthy niece is due any day.
2. Match day, a day when I discover my residency placement. March 23rd marks my commitment of almost a year without alcohol to make the day even more special and will be celebrated with gallons of champagne!
3. My father promised to buy me as car once I know where I end up! My first very own car!!
4. I get to find a place to live near my new job, and I will be living and decorating my own apartment all the way I want!!
5. I graduate on May 27th and become a doctor and celebrate the event with my closest family and friends!!
Oh how excited I am for my life and all the wonderful things that have happened and are still to happen.
Thank you Rhonda, thank you Rhonda’s team and Rhonda’s inspirations, thank you for taking a stressed out girl and reminding her that she is young, beautiful, strong, smart, ambitious, lovable, oh the adjectives can go on forever.
Thank you Universes! Thank you from the bottom of my soul!
