I was introduced to The Secret and The Power during the darkest time of my life. My boyfriend of many, many, MANY years and I decided to take a break from one another due to constant arguements about the same old issues. During our break, I set out to do all the things I wanted that I couldn’t while we were together; travel, meet new people, form new relationships, focus on my career… without having to worry about what he would think or say. Please keep in mind that I still madly loved my boyfriend but felt that if things were going to get better between us, I needed to learn how to be my own person; independant from him.

Also during our break, I met a man who I was absolutely taken with and he felt the same… or so I thought. In the beginning he was very affectionate, always being the first to call or message me. When I finally let my guard down, he just disappeared… Well not actually, but the phone calls and texts became close to non-existent. I was crushed. I didn’t understand why and this is when I started to feel really down and sad all the time. This is where THE SECRET comes into play.

I began to keep a journal and write in it everyday. On one page I would write 5 things I was grateful for for that day and on the opposite page I would write about things (in the present tense as if I already had them) that I was hoping for in my life. One of them being that this man would come back to me. Overtime I started to feel happy and full of gratitude. In addition to the journal I would meditate and research other videos and articles about the Laws of Attraction.

Months later, my boyfriend and I reconciled and all the issues that were tearing us apart are no longer issues at all. We are moving forward with our relationship planning our wedding and future with one another. As for the other man, he DID come back just like I wrote it down and imagined it. He called me out of nowhere while I was at work. Not only this, he still tries to reach out to me with a phone call or text message begging to see me because he needs me and misses me. I always wrote about him begging for me back and being so in love with me (never about the relationship we would have) and I got exactly what I asked for. But I truly believe that because of my constant feelings of love and gratitude, the universe brought back to me what I needed to continue these feelings of love and gratitude.. and that is my boyfriend who I love more and more everyday.. not a temporary fantasy.

In addition to this, I manifested my promotion and salary increase at work I am so happy and grateful for everything The Secret has taught me. I really am the author of my life!
