This happened to me two years ago.

I was in my last year of college. We had our placements from college that year. I have always imagined myself as a career oriented woman – high paying job, managing people, talking to new people, getting things done. Imagined it always.

I got an offer from a company that visited our college during summer. The profile was ok. It was nothing great. I was really disappointed. I didn’t know how that dream of mine would materialize. I was aware of The Secret but hadn’t really tried anything, so I decided why not give this a shot!

That night, I sat on my bed with two big sheets of paper and a pen. I drew in bold my goals. “AWESOME high paying job” and “MBA”. I stuck this on my cupboard. Everyday I would see this and wonder how it would happen, but in the heart of my hearts I knew it WAS! No matter what!!

One fine day, I got a call from a multi national company which I had applied to a long time ago. The whole of the interview process was magical. I couldn’t believe I had cleared the interview and I got THAT job! WOW! The Secret really rocks! My “AWESOME high paying job” which was on my visual board is now a reality!

Thoughts DO become things! I am on my way to get my second item on the board to turn into a reality. I am sure it will, it’s on its way.
