After 21 years of marriage, I became divorced and almost homeless. I had gone through a very tough couple of years after the divorce. During this time I was able to purchase the movie, The Secret. I watched it over and over and over and always wondered how I could make things happen for me.

One day my sister asked me to move in with her and her family so that I could get on my feet and try to start over. I accepted and moved to Texas. I began to practice The Secret and tried to believe as much as possible that my life could change. Then after six months of struggling to find a job, I got a job with a Corporate Office located right there in the same town. Then two weeks later I got a car. Then another week later I had arranged to move into a brand new apartment when the office called and said to go ahead and move in early with no charge! I had nothing, so I went to look at furniture and was able to get brand new furniture with in-store financing – couch, love seat, and table and chairs. Second chance kind of financing, but I still felt blessed! Now I needed a bed. My sister volunteered at a Thrift Store and told me about a big furniture sale they were having, so I went to check it out. There was an elderly couple who had a brand new pillow-topped king-sized bed there, and they let me buy it for $150 complete with a cleaning kit! The Law of Attraction was working for me and I finally understood how this works!!

Then the trial came and at work my manager became abusive to me emotionally. He targeted me in every way. It was as if I couldn’t hardly speak or have any emotion or expression or he would attack me and make accusations towards me and threaten to fire me. I went to an Advocate at work and because I could not outright prove anything, nothing could be done. I was under intense stress to the point my family became concerned. I feared that if I lost my job I would be back at nothing, so I chose to believe that it would all work out and that The Secret LOA would somehow work for me. I went to work, did my job, and on my desk had all these little positive words to help me stay focused on a positive change or promotion.

One day I came into work and it was decided that all the teams would be mixed up and we had to go to another manager that we never had before. This was the beginning of my blessing! I was transferred to a new manager and when another job had posted within the company, she personally made a call to the Director to make sure I got an interview. I got the job! I was promoted and shortly after I moved into a bigger apartment, paid off my furniture, bought a brand new car, and now I am about to buy a brand new home! I went from no credit and nothing, to receiving all brand new! By the way, that mean manager I had was fired from the company.

The next step is to have my own business doing my dream job, making my dream money! I now know that NOTHING is out of reach as long as I believe and keep my faith! There will be trials to test your faith, but as long as you believe through it all, that it will all work out, then it will. Keep pursuing and never stop believing!! It truly works!!
