Realised at last what I’m destined to be
Since reading The Secret and The Power, my life is slowly but surely changing for the better. I was in a very dark place, I felt stuck, felt like I was trapped and couldn’t get to where I wanted to be. After reading both The Secret and The Power, I interpreted the power of gratitude into my life, saying thank you for everything I was truly thankful for each day. My life slowly but surely began to seem a lot friendlier and more positive, and I felt like people were actually on my side, rather than against me.
Soon I decided to practice future gratitude, and began thanking for things that had not happened yet, but what I wanted to happen. I wanted to move college, to transfer from a college I was not happy in, in Manchester, to a performing arts college in London. Using the power of gratitude I said: “Thank you for Bird College for allowing me to experience a great day of dance, drama, and song. Thank you for Bird accepting me onto their course.” And then finally I said, “Thank you to Bird College for accepting me into their course right after my audition.” Now this was a long shot, as they never accept people straight away, you have to wait for an acceptance letter.
After my audition, the panel amazingly asked me would I like to start in September!!! I couldn’t believe it!! Something I never imagined to happen happened to me all because I prematurely thanked for it.
I now use this amazing gift by saying stuff like, “Thank you that the train doors stop right in front of me so I can get on before everyone else.” And it has worked every time, and I always stand in different positions on the platform each time to reassure myself. The more I am thankful, the sweeter life becomes.
I am truly blessed with this knowledge, and I hope anyone who reads this tries this out and is blessed with this mind blowing experience. Now I’m a little impatient so other things I’ve thanked for prematurely have not yet happened, but I know within my heart, in time, these things will come into my life. I love life, and I love all the joy it brings. Thank you Rhonda!! You truly are a pioneer of worldly love.
