It has been nine months since everything started to change. I have always known that our thoughts can shape our lives. It is not easy to be positive in a bad situation, but it can change your life.

When I returned to London from a month in South Africa with my family, I felt lost. My interior design contracts had ended, my love life was a mess, and I had no idea what to do next. I knew I needed a change but did not feel like making any effort.

I was job hunting online one day and started looking at jobs in Australia. I had dreamed of living there since I was a child. There were many design opportunities, and I felt like the Universe was telling me something. My parents encouraged me to go for it. I booked a flight to Australia.

I imagined waking up to sunshine every day, a fulfilling job in design, and living in a beautiful flat. I am now living that life in Brisbane. I have traveled the entire East Coast and manifested other trips to Mauritius, South Africa, and India.

Sometimes, it takes one shift to change your life. My friends now say, “You’re living the dream,” and I say, “Yes, I am.”
