The Secret has made dramatic positive changes in my life. I am so grateful for my roommate showing me The Secret one year ago.

I have attracted my amazing soul mate/husband/boyfriend/significant other/other better half into my life using The Secret. I first saw the movie by my roommate, then I read the book, and then I started reading The Power, and then I came to this wonderful site to read all the inspiring stories in learning more ways to apply the law of attraction. All very inspiring and has brought me to where I am today. In attracting my soul mate, I wrote down all the qualifications I wanted in my soul mate; I wrote down qualities to the specific- like how tall he has to be, the way he treats me, things he says, etc. I wrote this down all in my journal and I also made a vision board. I had made this about a month before I was off to go abroad to teach English for six months.

There was a co-worker who I had had a crush on for the longest time and always wanted him to notice me and hang out with me, but he always didn’t seem like he knew what he wanted and he was flaky when it came to plans- cancel last minute on plans. Within those next 2 weeks of writing down all those qualities I wanted in my soul mate and making my vision board, that same co-worker started texting me and we started talking a little bit and started making plans to hang out. After making my vision board and writing down all those qualities, I realized that he did NOT have all those qualities in a guy that I wanted from the start, but after he started talking to me again I started to give him a chance. We had made plans to hang out in San Diego, where I had gone to college and still was living with my roommates at the time. I drove about two hours from my parent’s house to go to San Diego to meet up with him, and we had plans that he would pick me up from my place in San Diego. Long story short, he never showed up and when I asked him where he was, he said he totally forgot and was so sorry. That’s when I realized he really did not have any of those qualities in a guy I wanted and I was happy that we didn’t end up hanging out that day. I knew the Universe would only bring me a guy with all those qualities that I asked for and wanted. The Universe did not want me to settle for less, and I am so grateful for that.

The Universe had something better for me in mind. During that time that my co-worker had started talking to me, one of my sister’s friends from back in college had started texting me too. We had met about a week before I made my vision board and wrote down all those qualities in my journal about my soul mate. There was a special connection we had the first time I met him and I had a good feeling about him. He flew out to come visit me before I left to go abroad to teach English. While I was abroad, we kept in touch those whole six months through consistent skype dates. It was amazing to see how fast the Universe had delivered me my soul mate. He always tells me how beautiful I am, how he loves me so much, and wants to start a family with me in the near future. When I came back from abroad, he came to visit me for Valentine’s Day and we have been visiting each other back and forth ever since.

He just got into the University in Phoenix, Arizona, where we wanted him to get into. We live in our one bedroom apartment together, close to his other relatives, where we have family barbecues a lot by the pool. His family loves and adores me. I work at a great Sales/Marketing job, which I love to do, pays me great money, and it is the best paying job I’ve ever had so far; it is also close to our one bedroom apartment, which makes it very convenient for me. We love our new apartment and living together. We are so happy and so grateful that the Universe has brought us together. We are planning on starting a family soon.

Remember, the Universe knows what you want and is willing to give it to you, just remember to always 100% let go and let the Universe figure out the how. Always be grateful for what you already have. Take a leap of faith with the Universe and trust in it.
