Firstly, I would like to thank the Universe for all of my blessings! I am so happy and grateful now that I am back with my soul mate and that the Universe has shown me time and time again that The Secret really does work!!

This is a long and convoluted story but I have learned so much about The Secret from it!!

Four months ago my boyfriend broke up with me out of the blue. During our relationship, I was never really committed and was always wishing that I was with my previous partner who I had dated 4 years prior.

I kept thinking about being married to my previous partner and wasn’t grateful for the amazing relationship I already had. I set a date to be with my previous partner and then forgot about it.

My boyfriend then broke up with me out of the blue. I was devastated!! I didn’t realize how much I actually loved him.

At the same time, my previous partner got in touch with me and we started dating. Even though it was what I had wished for, I wasn’t happy. We just didn’t click and I realized that I already had my perfect partner in my boyfriend.

While this was going on I was reminded of The Secret. I went home to my parents and the book was sitting out in my childhood bedroom. I believe I was being intentionally reminded of its power. Years ago I remember writing a list of all the traits I wanted in my perfect partner and telling the Universe about it. I had completely forgotten about it until my boyfriend broke up with me and I realized that he had all of the traits I had asked for. I had just forgotten about them and wasn’t grateful for them because I was wishing for someone else!! I realized that I had caused our breakup by not being grateful for all of the wonderful things he did for me and by wishing for someone else.

I also knew that I could change my situation. I gave gratitude every day for all the wonderful things I love about him, like how supportive he is, how he brings out my silly side, and how he gives the best cuddles ever! I sent him loving thoughts throughout the day too and imagined my love wrapping around him and keeping him safe.

I’m pleased to say that he got in touch with me and we are now in a relationship that is stronger than ever and we are living together. I am so thankful to the Universe for having him in my life! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I’m so happy. I will be eternally grateful to the Universe for the small break we had to take for me to understand that I already had everything I wanted from a relationship and for bringing us back together. I will never take my boyfriend for granted again and every day I will give thanks for all the things I love about him to keep our relationship strong.
