LebanonHello, I'm Sara and I currently work as a teacher. I like sharing everything I learn as it is showing gratitude for God who gave me the blessing of knowledge.
Bismillah بسم الله
I am Sara and I am so very happy and grateful for God giving us the chance to have the ability to make choices, even choosing if we want to believe or not to believe. “We showed him (i.e. humans) the way: whether he be grateful or ungrateful rests on his will.” (Surah al-Insan 76:3) Quran.
And as Imam Ali (a) said: “You consider yourself to be a speck, but within you, the great universe has spread open. The first blessing: God asked us to worship, but not through subjugation and breaking, but rather he asked us to stay connected to him like being online with him so that we can become strong, transcend and provide sustenance. It is as if he is telling us, “Take this, this my number, this is my address, this is a way for you to bring you to me, worship me, stay with me on an open path, and do not block it.”
And what is the result of this? What is the practical effect or reward?
As for God’s greatest gift to you, it is that you worship God without associating anything with him. If you do that with sincerity, God will make it your responsibility to suffice you for the affairs of this world and the hereafter and preserve for you what you love from them. Imam Zine El Abidine. How?
By being grateful!
And remember that the Lord caused to be declared, publicly: “If you are grateful, I will add more favors unto you but if you show ingratitude, truly my punishment is terrible indeed.”
(Surah Ibrahim 14:7) Quran
This is by the grace of the Lord! To test whether I am grateful or ungrateful! And if any is grateful, truly his gratitude is a gain for his own soul; but if any is ungrateful, truly my Lord is free of all needs, supreme in honor!” (Surah an-Naml 27:40) Quran
“And be grateful to Allah, if it is him you worship.” (Surah al-Baqarah 2:172) Quran
“If you reject Allah, truly Allah has no need of you; but he likes not ingratitude; if you are grateful, he is pleased with you.” (Surah az-Zumar 39:7) Quran
