As a child during the 60s, I discovered that if I wanted to view any particular episode of my favorite cartoon, it would be broadcast for my viewing pleasure (on one of our two available television channels) if I just thought about it. Without fail, within the next few days, often the same day after school, it would appear for me to watch. I continued to do this with my favorite TV programs over the years. It seemed like anything I thought about; movie, Seinfeld episode, even TV I did not enjoy but had at one time seen someone else watching, would appear on the screen within a very short period of time after I thought about it. I didn’t know why this happened – it actually bothered me. Although I enjoyed the benefit, I wanted an explanation to the phenomena. I questioned many religious teachers without any satisfactory answer.

This has now been explained to me for the first time by The Secret. I’ve been manifesting these programs my whole life!

I have been in a bad relationship going nowhere for the last five years. I lived in a hovel and felt trapped there in an emotionally abusive relationship, due to ongoing financial hardships. My transportation to work was breaking down. Everything seemed to be getting worse.
Since purchasing The Secret for no particular reason that I can think of 3 months ago in March 2008, and discovering that thoughts do indeed become things, I have manifested my dream car (an Audi TTconvertible, paid for), my dream home (although I only rent it – at an unbelievably low rate, and first 6 months are rent-free), two vacations within one month, lost a pesky 15 pounds that have been clinging to me for 5 years, and have a continual joyous outlook on life that I only used to enjoy some of the time.

It would take too long to explain here how all this happened, but the main key for me was to realize that when we think, “I don’t want..” we without fail get it! I was trained as a child not to wish or ask for anything I wanted from anyone, as if this was greedy, selfish, wrong. So I would dwell on what I didn’t want, hoping to avoid it. I was afraid to ask for what I wanted. Now I do.
I have posted notes around my home that say “GIVE THANKS”, “Change from Recalling Bad Memories to Good Ones”(a biggy for me), “What Things Do You WANT in your life – Picture THEM”, “Think Happy Thoughts” etc. to keep myself on the right train of thought.
