Well, I have read all your stories, and they give me so much inspiration when I cannot see the woods for the trees. So thank you to every single person that keeps this world going with The Secret.

I have been in an on-and-off relationship with a guy for over a year. We were together for four years, and he meant everything to me. However, I have learned that I wasn’t everything to him. But that’s okay! It’s okay not to be. I was struggling with negative thoughts because he would ignore me, only contacting me when he wanted to argue or be aggressive, but at the same time, he told me he loved me and that I was his world. I believed this for a year. We separated and got back together.

I read The Power over and over and kept it as my bible. I even have the quote, “Whenever you do not treat yourself the way you want others to treat you, you can never change the way things are,” on my phone screen. I looked at this over and over again but still allowed this person to treat me this way. Does this sound familiar, ladies and gentlemen? Because guys can be treated like this too!

After some consideration, I decided to ask for a sign. I needed to see something unusual, something rare, so I chose to look for a yellow Porsche being driven on the road. Although these cars are quite common, it’s not often that you see one in yellow. I took a moment to gaze at the sky and silently said, “If I’m not meant to be with this person, and if there’s something better on its way, show me that yellow Porsche.” Then, with a smile, I continued with my life.

For two weeks, I never took the time to think about anything else. I was too busy reading the nasty text messages that had become the norm. I work at a car dealership, and one morning, as I walked in and made my usual first coffee, I sat at my desk and just looked out of the window. There, driving past, was a yellow Porsche! I smiled and felt warm inside. I texted my friend and told her, and she said, “The Universe has answered your question, now listen to it.” I smiled and felt so happy, but I knew that this was final and that my life would change forever.

An hour later, a different car passed by. This time it was a hard top, not a soft top. I started to laugh and said, “I know, I see it.” I went to the back to tidy up and wash the cups the customers had used. When I came back and sat at my desk, I looked to my right and there was another one in the car park! It felt like the Universe was trying to send me a message. I laughed and smiled, and the man in the car waved at me, turned the car on, and drove out.

What was going on? Now, the Universe obviously knows me well enough to realize that I do not listen the first time and I needed a push, but this time, it really pushed!

I have finally realized that I deserve a man who loves me unconditionally and won’t hurt me, and he is on his way. I love the Universe and the people in it who show love and happiness to their partners. We should show this every single day. And for those in a loving relationship, hold onto it and be grateful!
