Hello all! This is an incredible story for me as it’s one that has really opened my eyes to show that The Secret does really work!

As a freelance makeup artist I decided to apply to a makeup counter job in order to have more security and a regular income coming in. I had applied to a few different places but there was always, in my heart, one place I knew I wanted to work more than anywhere else. I proceeded to make this desire into a vision board! However, there was no posts available for this particular company as it was very sought after post and company.

I continued checking, always telling myself that I wouldn’t work anywhere else. I applied for alternate jobs and eventually landed with an interview at a rather large company. At this point I was desperate for a job so I began to want this role but I did not get it. Over the next few days I realised why, as it was not the perfect fit for me!

By chance a few days later I checked the original company and for the first time in months they had a vacancy in the exact location I wanted! I immediately applied and passed through to the interview stage. The interview went great and the whole time I told myself one thing; it’s my job!!!

Shortly afterwards I got an email to tell me I had a store approval for my dream job! I couldn’t believe my sheer luck! Well it’s not really luck now I know. I knew the job was mine all along. After the store approval I received a call the following day to confirm my contract and turns out it is for the exact amount of days that I wanted to work as well!

Next on my list will be all the makeup bookings to fill up the extra days of the week! I can not wait to start the journey towards my dream career and eventually make my own name as a household brand in this industry. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
