I was first introduced to The Secret by a friend who offered to lend it to me. I ignored the offer as I was in no mood to read a self-help book. However, within a couple of days, I came across the book again at a local store. This time, I don’t know what happened but I bought it instinctively. Life has not been the same since then.

I read, re-read, re-read it again then started applying the principles to all aspects of my life. One of my major causes of worry at that time was my job. My husband had just got posted to a small town and I wanted to move with him. But, I loved my job and did not want to leave it. There was no way that I could have both. Making a choice was not easy. I started applying The Secret and imagined myself working from the beautiful new location from the comfort of my home. This is around 10 years ago when working from home or WFH, was not a common thing in my industry. Still, I kept my faith.

I gathered my courage and brought up the matter with the Country Head of my company. He told me that he could not help me as he was not the decision-maker but I should take this up with our COO who would be visiting our location soon. Within a week, I was with my COO discussing my proposal to work remotely. I thought it would take me some effort to convince him but I was surprised when he accepted my offer instantaneously, without any conditions or changes in salary or role. This was unbelievable!

It was only later that I got to know that my counterpart in the US office was getting married and moving out the same day I was to join my new location. There was no way they could do with both of us leaving at the same time. So they agreed to all my conditions! And soon, I was the only person out of 50 offices in 33 countries who had the flexibility to work from the comfort of my house, more than 500 miles away from the office! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This was my first major manifestation and I have been on a roll ever since then. I have read The Power, The Magic, and Hero. I have also gifted copies of these books to several friends and family members.

I have successfully manifested what I desired, for every aspect of my life; money, health, travel, work, and more. The only areas where I have not been able to manifest are the ones where I lacked faith. I am still working on my belief for those areas and desires in my life. The principle behind The Secret works without fail. I know that soon I will be sharing more success stories about some of the trickiest situations in my life, even though they might look impossible now.
