I’ve learned to apply The Secret for small things. Ever since I read The Secret, I never have a hard time finding parking, even in the most crowded and busiest days. I just know I’ll find one and there would always be an open space and if not, within minutes a car pulls out in front of me. I still yet have to master The Secret in making my biggest dreams a reality. Witnessing The Secret work for someone else has given me plenty of hope and courage to believe that everything I want is obtainable.

I work in a tight knit community and pretty much see the same clients come in and out of the office day in and day out and have gotten to know many of these clients on a personal level. One of the nicest clients, Mr. A would come in weekly and made sure he greeted every single employee before he left. He was gone for weeks and came back and said that they had found cancer in his throat area but the doctor was able to surgically remove the tumor.

A follow up test weeks later revealed that the cancer had spread to his mouth and it was considered Stage 4. All of our hearts drop because we knew the severity of Stage 4 cancer. Mr. A had a different attitude and said that he had the best team of doctors at USC behind him and that he was going to overcome the cancer. Every week it seems like he was getting paler and weaker, slowly withering away but he always came in with a smile and a positive aura.

The treatments were draining him physically and it was evident in his eyes. We all thought he was done in but not once did we hear a negative word from him. He kept persisting that he was going to overcome it. To make a story short, Mr. A is has now been 6 months cancer free. When others would have given up with a Stage 4 diagnosis, Mr. A had unwavering faith in himself and his doctors to fight his illness.

Mr. A inspired me to believe that I deserve to be happy and have everything I desire. Thank God and the Universe for helping those have the courage to believe in the things that seem impossible. Everything is possible with God and the Universe. I hope that everyone reading this story will be inspired to dream big to your hearts content and believe it will materialize.
